What is CJC-1295 (No DAC) + Ipamorelin?
Our dataset records the blend itself with no CAS number, formula, molecular weight or sequence, under the synonym Mod-GRF(1-29) and Ipamorelin blend, and it holds no entry for the releasing factor component. Ipamorelin is on record: CAS 170851-70-4, formula C38H49N9O5, average molecular weight 711.85, sequence H-Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2.
That sequence is worth reading closely, because three of its building blocks are not standard residues. Aib is alpha-aminoisobutyric acid, a conformationally constrained non-natural residue; 2-Nal is 3-(2-naphthyl)alanine; and both that unit and the following phenylalanine are in the D configuration. The C-terminus is an amide. Together these features make the molecule resistant to peptidase cleavage and, in the literature, unusually selective at the ghrelin receptor.
In published pituitary work Ipamorelin is described as releasing growth hormone without the concurrent rises in cortisol and prolactin reported for earlier secretagogues such as GHRP-6, the usual reason it is chosen for a blend of this type. The releasing factor component contributes activity at a separate receptor, and the animal literature associates that two-receptor combination with a larger secretory response. Whether the selectivity advantage holds across all preparations is not settled.
Reconstitution & handling
Sterile or bacteriostatic water dissolves both components. The small, basic Ipamorelin clears quickly while the larger component needs a short standing period. Add the diluent against the vial wall and swirl gently until no cake or haze remains. Record a concentration for each component separately, from its labelled mass over the shared diluent volume, rather than one combined figure.
Storage & stability
The sealed dry vial keeps at -20 °C, desiccated and out of the light. Reconstituted blend should be split into single-use aliquots and held at 2 to 8 °C without repeated freeze-thaw. Ipamorelin's non-natural residues make it robust to enzymatic attack but not to oxidation of its aromatic side chains, so amber containers remain appropriate, and the blend should be handled to the requirements of whichever component is less tolerant.
How it's tested
The two components are resolved by reversed-phase HPLC and released on separate purity figures at 214 and 220 nm. The Ipamorelin peak is confirmed by mass spectrometry against the theoretical average mass of 711.85, the releasing factor component against the theoretical mass calculated for its own structure. Net peptide content is reported per component, and the lot-matched certificate of analysis is available on request.
